Texas Science Fiction Conventions

A Guide to Science Fiction, Fantasy, Gaming, and Anime Conventions in Texas

The first science fiction convention in Texas was Southwestern Con 6 held in Dallas in July, 1958. Since then science fiction fandom has blossomed like bluebonnets with conventions held in every corner of the Lone Star State. Join ALAMO and fan groups across Texas as we celebrate the strength and diversity of Texas convention fandom.

There's nothing we love more than taking a roadtrip and meeting our fellow fans all over Texas. So here's a list of every Texas SF convention we could find plus a couple of the best cons from our neighbors across the Great Southwest and around the world.

If we missed one, please let us know. Enjoy.
